Competition students Elana, Amelie, Anneka, and Isabella performed at Ryman Healthcare Jean Sandel Retirement Village as part of their Nutcracker Christmas function. They had a great time dancing and talking with the residents - top two questions: 'How long have you been dancing?' and 'How do you get your tutu to stay up?'. Many of the ladies in the crowd also shared memories of their own dancing days with the girls. A big thank you to Carla and the Ryman team for the invite!

Final practice at the studio Before going on stage - unfortunately four girls are missing All lined up and ready to go! Thanks for reading! - Selene

Now time for a well-deserved Christmas break before we're back into rehearsals for the Festival of Lights (if your class is participating, your parents have been contacted). Also best wishes to senior ballet student Becky, who will be attending Victoria University next year. Becky, 'Gold Fairy' Variation,
