
Palmerston North Restricted Competitions
Well done to all of our students who travelled through to Palmerston North for their Restricted Competitions last weekend. And especially well done to Amelie and Sydney, who won their Jazz and Character classes respectively. Not long till April Competitions now... Charity Concert for Christchurch
Like most people in New Zealand and around the world, we heard with shock and horror the events which took place at several mosques in Christchurch a few weeks ago, in which 51 people lost their lives. On Sunday 24 March, a fundraiser charity concert took place at The Mayfair, with all proceeds going to the families of the victims in the mosque shootings. We were asked to take part, and several of our competition students immediately volunteered. We're very proud of you, girl

The Nutcracker Seminar 2019
This year's studio seminar was Disney's The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. I don't currently have any performance photos, but there's plenty that Alison took while the students were learning their routines from tutors and former senior students Courtney McEwan and Elly Bisson. RNZB Workshop
About a week ago, the Royal New Zealand Ballet came to New Plymouth for their Tutus on Tour performance. They - and our students - had a busy day, with Ballet in the Box (a school-focused ballet program) followed by a visit to the studio by RNZB Dance Educator Chloe Bishop. A few dozen of our younger students joined her for a fun twist on a normal class - dancing ballet to pop music - followed by learning some of the choreography from Nae Regrets, a Scottish-themed contempora
