ARC Competitions

We had an amazing weekend running our ARC Restricted Competitions. Alison and Selene love watching all the dancers and singers show off their hard work for our judges. A big thank you to all our volunteers who helped us run the competition (parents and students), to the dads who helped us set up and pack out, and to Michael from TLL who spent several hours setting up our lighting and sound system.

We were so lucky to have former students Courtney Collings and Charli Sarten return to judge the dance portion of the competition - we are grateful for your enthusiasm and encouragement for all the students. Next year we are thrilled to host Jo Mills from Wellington Performing Arts as our dance judge for the entire weekend. Our singing judge will be announced soon.

Our students all had an amazing time, with lots of firsts and personal bests - we're very proud of you all! Special shout-outs to: Abby, Ruby, Paipa-Jane, Poppy, Isobelle, Viriato, Zelmari, Jessica, and Elly for receiving encouragement awards; Briar, Jessica, Lily, Aria, Arabella, Clementine, Ruby, and Poppy for winning their classes; Lily, Wenxue, Hunter, Aria, and Briar for receiving special awards; and Viriato for an awesome first time on stage.
